Strengthening Community Connections: Intrax Joins the Branson BridgeUSA Community Forum
At Intrax Work Travel, cultural exchange goes beyond the individual participant experience. It also means building connections with the American communities that welcome international visitors each summer.
Our representative, Stacie Tollaksen, recently joined the Branson BridgeUSA Community Forum, an opportunity to connect with local business and community leaders and contribute to conversations about international exchange programs.
Reflecting on the experience, Stacie shared:
“So excited to be back on the road! Thank you, Jonas Tavares and the Branson Chamber, for hosting an engaging BridgeUSA Community Forum. What a wonderful opportunity to present to an engaged crowd of business and community leaders!”
Building Stronger BridgeUSA Communities
Branson, Missouri, has an established community network dedicated to supporting J-1 Summer Work Travel participants. The Branson BridgeUSA Community Support Group brings together program sponsors, local employers, community organizations, and leaders to help create a welcoming environment for international participants.
Its work includes supporting participants during their time in Branson, coordinating community activities, and helping local stakeholders better understand the Summer Work Travel program.
Community forums provide a valuable opportunity for these groups to come together, exchange perspectives, and discuss how local communities can support successful cultural exchange experiences.
The Importance of Community Partnerships
Successful cultural exchange relies on collaboration. Program sponsors, host employers, and local communities each play an important role in helping participants feel welcomed and supported while they live and work in the United States.
For Intrax, participating in these conversations is part of our continued commitment to BridgeUSA and the connections that make cultural exchange meaningful.
We thank Jonas Tavares and the Branson Chamber for hosting the forum and bringing together an engaged group of business and community leaders.
We look forward to continuing to build relationships with the communities that help make Work Travel an opportunity for cultural connection, shared experiences, and lasting memories.
