About the Role

Ride operators oversee the safe operation of amusement park rides by assisting guests, enforcing safety rules, and managing ride controls. The role includes helping visitors board and exit, performing basic safety checks, and monitoring ride performance throughout the day. It’s an active job that requires focus, clear communication, and a friendly approach while working in a lively park setting.

Who's eligible

Currently enrolled in a university or four-year college

Between 18 and 28 years of age

Proficient in spoken English

Committed to fulfilling job duties for the duration of the program.

Have at least $1000 USD available to support yourself for the first month of the program.

Apply for program

Contact an IWT partner for program information and a screening interview. After the interview, the partner will show you complete descriptions of available jobs that meet your needs and qualifications.

Match with a company

You select a job and complete your paperwork. Your IWT partner will schedule another interview with you to ensure you meet the particular requirements for your job. We collect all documents and fees for submission.

Prepare for your adventure

We provide you with support and pre-departure orientation before you leave for the USA.
